Aluminum and Stainless Steel Metal Art Weavings
The next ten weavings are painted and woven thin stainless steel. The weavings are all mounted on either stainless steel or aluminum frames. The edges of the metal frames are folded under and give the weavings a beautiful look. The weavings are floated 1/2" above the frame for a very stylish appearance. Here are a couple of aluminum open metal weavings. These are made with wire-brushed .032 aluminum, with the strips welded at the ends. Hangers are hidden behind the strips near the four corners. They could also be mounted on a painted or bright polished metal board.

Aluminum has a beguiling quality when wire-brushed. It doesn't need to be on a black background to look stupendous.
